Boasting a truly national footprint with events in each state and the Northern Territory, Supercars is Australia’s premier motorsport category. Supercars is broadcast into 300 million international homes across 95 countries.
Challenge
Supercars has over 3M followers across their social media channels. Over the course of a race week, the team publishes over 500 posts and sees millions of comments flood their social platforms.Prior to partnering with Freedom2hear, Supercars had a dedicated resource for manually checking all of the comments coming through their socials, but it was impossible for every single comment to be checked and deleted. The biggest challenge and risk to the Supercars digital team was the increase in spam links that intended to redirect viewers to illegal broadcasts of the race. This was a huge challenge for the team as there are millions of dollars connected to important broadcast deals. They required a scalable solution that acted in real-time but was also ensured the right comments were flagged and instantly removed from their channels.

Solution
